Mumbai reports 733 new COVID-19 cases, 18 deaths on June 12

Mumbai reported 733 new COVID-19 cases on June 12, taking the total tally to 7,15,879. Now, there are 15,798 active cases in the city.

City recorded 18 deaths due to coronavirus on Saturday which pushed its fatality count to 15,164 as per data released by the city's civic body. 732 COVID-19 patients recovered and were discharged on Saturday taking the recovery count to 6,82,678.

On Saturday, 29,174 tests were conducted. May 17 had reported the lowest count rate with just 17,640 tests. Till date, 65,61,197 tests have been conducted in the city.

Meanwhile, the doubling rate has increased to 598 days, while the weekly growth rate has retained to 0.11 percent.

There are total 24 containment zones in the city and 92 buildings have been sealed as per today's data. Recovery rate of Mumbai district is at 95 percent.
