Mumbai Police arrested a man from Borivali for making a hoax call claiming that a bomb blast would take place in the city. The accused, identified as Suraj Jadhav, had used a mobile phone and SIM card that were seized by the police. The call, which was made to the Mumbai Police Control Room, caused panic and prompted immediate security checks across sensitive locations.
Suraj, the accused in the recent hoax call incident, has multiple cases registered against him and had previously been externed by the police. According to police sources, this is not his first offense—he had made a similar hoax call about six months ago. A fresh case has now been registered at the Azad Maidan Police Station, and Suraj is scheduled to be produced in court tomorrow.
The suspicious call was received today at approximately 2:35 PM at Booth No. 12 of the Mumbai Police Main Control Room via emergency number 100. The call, made from mobile number 9324888125, claimed that bomb blasts were going to take place in Mumbai, with the caller stating, "I am a man from D-Company."

Mumbai Police took the threat seriously and initiated an investigation to trace the caller and verify the credibility of the threat. Security has been heightened at sensitive locations across the city as a precautionary measure.
Upon investigation, police traced the call to the Borivali area and swiftly apprehended the caller. Authorities confirmed that the alert was false, and no explosives were found. Mumbai Police have warned that strict action will be taken against those who spread false information or attempt to disrupt public peace. Further investigation is underway.
