LLM students of Mumbai University are facing troubles with their hall tickets. The First Year First Semester Allowed to Keep Terms (ATKT) examination, which will begin from May 8, have found errors on their hall tickets.
According to Hindustan Times, the Mumbai University has asked students to report to at the Kalina campus in Mumbai to make necessary changes in their hall tickets. One of the students told the leading daily, “This year, many students failed in two subjects out of four. However, the hall ticket issued shows that students have cleared only one subject and failed in the remaining three, which is incorrect. The university officials have asked us to go to the Kalina campus for necessary corrections. It is inconvenient because the examination is around the corner.”
An advocate named Sandeep Kedare has registered his protest against this mismanagement and also has written about the LLM hall ticket issue to the Mumbai University. The Mumbai University exam department deputy registrar Vinod Malale told the DNA, “The mistakes are only in LLM hall tickets as for the first time, tickets are being issued online. These are technical issues and students need not come to the Kalina campus for corrections. The process of uploading corrected hall tickets for LLM ATKT exam has already started and students can now download them.”
