A free Covid-19 vaccination camp was held on Sunday in Bhayandar West. The camp, sponsored by The Free Press Journal Group of Newspapers and organised by the Maheshwari Mandal, Bhayandar, was attended by almost 600 people who got vaccinated.
The event was graced by Mr Ashok Karnani, Director, The Free Press Journal Group of Newspapers, Mr Dilip Dhole, the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Commissioner, and Dr Digambar Jaawar from the Kamala Foundation. The medical team from Salasar Nursing Home in Bhayandar, a premier health institute founded by Dr Niranjan Agarwal and Dr Shilpa Agarwal, provided great support to the event.

The event’s smooth progress was overseen by the Maheshwari Mandal, Bhayandar office-bearers and members, including the women’s committee and the youth wing. In attendance on Sunday were the Maheshwari Mandal president, Mr Ramavtar Bhutra, trust board president, Mr Madanlal Bhutra, trustee, Mr Ramesh Bhutra, treasurer, Mr Narayan Toshniwal, joint treasurer, Mr Suresh Darak, and Corporator Mr Ajit Patil.
