Mumbai : The Central Railway will operate a mega block on Main and Harbour lines to carry out maintenance work on Sunday. This will affect the Kalyan-Thane Up fast line from 11.10am to 3.40pm and Nerul-Mankhurd Up and Down Harbour lines from 11am to 3pm.
On the Main line, Up fast services leaving Kalyan from 11.22am to 3.42pm will be diverted on to the Up slow line between Kalyan and Thane stations halting at all stations and will be re-diverted on to the Up fast line between Thane and CST halting at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Kurla, Dadar and Byculla stations and will arrive at their destinations 20 minutes behind schedule.
Meanwhile, Down fast services leaving CST from 10.08am to 2.42pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive at destinations 15 minutes behind schedule.
On the Harbour line, Down services for Panvel/Belapur/Vashi leaving CSTM from 10.12am to 02.45pm and Up services for CSTM leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 10.20am to 3.04pm will remain cancelled. However, special services will be run on CSTM-Mankhurd and Thane-Panvel sections during the block period. Further, Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Trans harbour/Main line from 10.00am to 4.00pm on valid tickets.
Train no. 50104 Ratnagiri-Dadar passenger train will be terminated at Diva station and train no. 50103 Dadar-Ratnagiri passengers train will leave from Diva station on Sunday.
