Drunk and drive incident at Palm Beach road, 1 injured

Mumbai: In yet another case of drunk and drive, Nerul Police on Saturday arrested three youngsters after their car met with an accident on Palm Beach road on Saturday night. Sushil Kumar Dongre (25), Hemant Sarlaya (24) and Devendra Singh (25) were heading towards Vashi when their Honda car turned turtle as the driver lost control on the vehicle. The car after flipping over hit the electric pole along the road. In the accident, Suhshil Kumar Dongre suffered minor injuries while other two escaped unhurt. Nerul police reached the accident spot and questioned the trio about the accident. After they were unable to explain appropriately it became evident that they were drunk. The police arrested them after registering cases under relevant sections of the law.
