Mumbai: A Kurla-based teenager allegedly hanged herself to death from a ceiling fan at her residence on Friday. The 15-year-old also left a suicide note, in which she mentioned that she was battling depression due to which she took the extreme step.
Chunabhatti Police have recorded an Accidental Death Report. According to police, in her suicide note, the teen, a resident of Khachadwadi area in Chunabhatti, apologised to her mother and accused the society of being cruel. Police said, the mother of the teen was present in the ground plus one structure, when she committed suicide on Friday.
An investigation is underway, said police.
