Akbaruddin Owaisi unwell, admitted to London hospital

Mumbai: The health of the younger brother of Asaduddin Owaisi who heads the All India Majlis-e Ittihadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), Akbaruddin, has taken a turn for the worse and he is being treated at a private hospital in London. Akbaruddin Owaisi is the legislator from Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad. Akbaruddin was indisposed even during the Lok Sabha elections and was in London. In 2011, he was seriously injured in a knife attack and was also shot at.

The bullet had pierced his spine and Akbaruddin has been undergoing treatment for this injury. Three days ago, he began vomiting and complained of stomachache, necessitating hospitalisation once again but there has been no improvement in his condition. Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy, has wished him an early revovery in a tweet. "Praying for the speedy recovery and good health of Akbaruddin Owaisiji," he said.
