23-year-old’s body found on railway track

Mumbai: Body of a 24-year-old youth was found on the railway tracks between Kurla and Sion stations on Saturday afternoon. Government Railway Police (GRP) took the body to Rajawadi hospital, Ghatkopar. The deceased was identified as Nawab Ahmed Siddique after the relatives reached the hospital.

Police suspect the youth was hanging out and accidentally fell from the train. A probe in this matter is underway. According to the hospital staff, the youth was brought dead to Rajawadi hospital with severe head injuries. The cause of his death will be known since the postmortem report is yet to be received.
