Truck driver Kasim Khan of Haryana was looted by a few miscreants on Sunday. The police said that Khan was driving a truck-laden with goods to Nasik, when he was signalled to stop by three bike-borne men. As soon as Khan stopped the truck, the trio whipped out knives and stabbed him. Later, they also snatched Rs 16,000 cash from him. On being informed by passers by, the police reached the spot and took the injured driver to a nearby hospital. According to CSP Jiwajiganj police, an FIR was registered against the miscreants on the basis of victim’s statement under Section 394 of the IPC. A manhunt has been launched to nab the miscreants.
