Ujjain: Sikh community took out a procession to mark Prakash Parv of Guru Govind Singh on Friday. The procession that began from Gurudwara, Dudhtalai was showered with flower petals at several places. National Sikh Association secretary Gyani Charan Singh Gil said that the procession moved from railway station, Malipura, Daulatganj, Kanthal Square and concluded at Guru Nanak Satsang, Patni Bazaar. Procession marked the rare occasion where women and child were seen washing the road with water, elders singing religious songs and youngsters displaying skills with swords. Rajendra Singh Chouhan, Navin Arya, Jagdish Shukla and Indrajit Singh Mutreza were present during procession.
