Ujjain: Collector Shashank Mishra held a meeting on Monday to chalk out arrangement plan for Maha Shivratri at Shri Mahakaleshwar temple. The meeting was held in temple premises. The collector instructed officials concerned to provide facilities to pilgrims to pay obesience to Lord Mahakal on Maha Shivratri. The collector stressed on free flow of pilgrims so that no one has to wait for long to view the Shivlinga.
The collector asked officials to ensure potable water, shoe stands, toilets, lighting, cleanliness, barricading and Prasad for pilgrims. He said that arrangements be customized so that common pilgrims do not face problems during entry in Nandi Hall and the sanctum if allowed. The collector also underlined crowd management during Maha Shivratri.
