Ujjain: Congress blamed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and district administration over multiple failures in making proper arrangements for devotees on the occasion of Shanishchari Amavasya. Party district Congress spokesperson Vivek Gupta attributed failures of arrangements on Shanishchari Amavasya to Narmada Kshipra link project of BJP government.
He commented that MP Malviya’s inspection on Triveni Ghat was a drama to misguide the people. The party asked the collector and municipal commissioner of being careful in preparations of such religious festivals.
