Ujjain: Masked men attack Noida woman police official and a relative

Ujjain: In a stunning incident some masked men attacked a woman officer of Noida police and her relative with knife on necks on intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday in Tirupati Dham Colony.  According to details available Sita wife of Anuj Singh is a police official and posted at Noida police station and her husband Anuj Singh is also a police officer and posted as an SI at CISF (Central industrial security force).  They were in the city to meet their family friends Neeta and her husband Rohit Pande and stayed at their friend Vaibhav Mishra’s residence in Tirupati Dham.

The couples spent the day visiting the city and returned late night to the home. Police official Seeta Singh and Neeta Pande and their husbands were sleeping in the separate room when the incident took place.  According to victim women around 2.30 am suddenly three masked men entered the room and started attack on both the women with knives. The miscreants ran away from the spot just after committing the crime. In the sudden attack both the women received serious injuries on hands and necks. Hearing screams of women, Anujsingh and Rohit Pande rushed to the room. The women were rushed to the hospital where they are undergoing treatment.

On being informed Chimanganj Mandi Police reached at the spot and checked the CCTV footages of the colony. According to police the attacker came on foot to the room and ran away in the same way, they did not have any vehicle.  According to ASP Neeraj Pande there were three miscreants at the time of the incident as per the CCTV footages but their motive is still not clear as all the jewelleries, cash and other valuable goods were not even touched by the miscreants.

Talking to Free Press Manish Mishra TI, Chimanganjmandi police station told that both the victims are serious and admitted in ICU motive might be some old feud as the miscreants did not touch cash or jewelleries in the room. The matter would be clear when the victims will come to senses.  The police also interrogated Vaibhav Mishra who told the police that the door was not properly locked and the miscreants took the advantage of it. According to sources the police found the matter to be suspicious as the motive of attackers was not clear. An FIR has been registered and an investigation has been launched into the matter.
