SPIC MACAY convener Pankaj Agarwal said SPIC MACAY established in is a student movement which aspires to bring social awakening amongst youth through its different module. Youth icon Lakshmi is among the established and reputable performers in the present generation of Kuchipudi artists in India.
For her Kuchipudi is, far from being just an art form that she performs with unparalleled passion, a way of life, a devotion. She has learnt Kuchipudi under the maestros Padma Shri Jayarama Rao and Vanashree Rao, one of the most celebrated couple of this art form. On Monday she will present workshop demonstration at Government Middle school Damdama at 11:45 am and at Government Higher Secondary School Jaalseva Niketan at 1:15 pm.
