Ujjain: The Kayasth community will celebrate festival of Holi for three days. Spokesperson said that the celebration programme would start from Dhulendi and will last on Bhaidooj.
The programme will be organised jointly by Shri Chitragupt Mandir Trust Ankpat, Akhil Bhartiya Kayastha Mahasabha and Shri Chitragupta Mahila Jagruti Mandal. Shrivastava further said that on Dhulendi (padva), the community members will play Holi at Rishi Nagar located Chitragupta temple.
On Bhaidooj, programmes will be organised at Bhartiya Gyanpeeth premises, Chitragupt temple at Ramghat, Shiv temple located at Lakshmi Nagar and Chitragupta temple located at Ankpat Marg. On March 24, a ‘Holi Milan’ celebration will be organised at Chitragupt temple Ankpat Marg, Shrivastava said.
