Ujjain: On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, several religious programmes will be held at Hanuman temples across the city on Friday. In famous ‘Baba Bal Hanuman’ temple located in Mahakaleshwar temple, a 2-day recital of Akhand Ramayan began here on Thursday and on Friday, a replica of Lord Hanuman will be taken out in palanquin from the temple. Ahead of Hanuman Jayanti, the temple and idol of Lord Hanuman were decorated beautifully. According to priest Pt Sulabh Shantuguru, a special aarti will be held and beautiful tableaus will also be taken out.
Similarly, Mahakal Sena and Yuva Tarun Sangthan will also organise Maha aarti at Agar Road located Hanuman Mandir. Organising committee member Rupesh Mehata appealed devotees to attend the programme. At Shri Ram Chaitanya Bal Hanuman temple located in Shastri Nagar, a bhandara will be organised on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. Convener Arjun Rathore told that idol and the temple would be beautifully adorned. A maha aarti will also be performed on this occasion which will be followed by bhajan recital.
On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, a Shriram Maruti yagna will be held on Friday at famous Ujarkheda Hanuman temple. Priest Ashish Pujara said that a mass feast will be organised on the same day. A maha aarti will be organised at Manshapurn Hanuman temple located at Alakhdham Nagar on Friday in which devotees with 1100 earthen lamps will perform aarti. Organising committee member Prakash Tallera said ‘Sundarakand’ was recited on Thursday and on Friday, a mass recital of Hamuman Chalisa will be organised along with a programme of mass feast. Likewise at Piplinaka located Gumandev Hanuman temple 5 days Hanuman Janmotsva is being celebrated which will conclude on Friday. Pt Chandanguru told that janm arti will be held on Friday at 8am and maha-arti will be held at 8.30pm.
Swami Awadheshanand to inaugurate meditation centre
A unique meditation centre ‘Shantam’ has been built in Shakkarvasa near Triveni located at Indore Road. It will be inaugurated by Junapeethadheeshwar and Mahamadleshwar Swami Awadheshanandji Maharaj on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti on Friday at 6.30pm. Life management guru Pt Vijayshankar Mehta will provide training on meditation to the disciples from May1 to May 10. According to Mehta, a 9 feet tall idol of Hanuman was set up in the premises of meditation centre.
