Ujjain: District Vigilance Committee constituted to check fraudulent loan waiver applicants

Ujjain: Chief Secretary of state has asked district administration to check fraudulent loan cases in scheduled banks and co-operative societies to ensure that actual beneficiaries avail Jai Kisan Fasal Rin Mafi Yojana. Collector Shashank Mishra constituted district vigilance committee under the chairmanship of Zila Panchayat CEO to address the issue.

Other members include, district commercial officer Rakesh Hedau, district supplying Officer Mohan Maru, deputy director horticulture PS Kanel and manager of Bank of India Arun Gupta. A control room too has been set up and an e-mail address too was released to lodge complaint against fraud loans. Shashank Mishra asked officers concerned to co-ordinate with MLAs of respective constituency and organise meetings to check fraudulent loan waiver cases.
