Ujjain: Devotees reached one day ahead of snan parv (Bhutadi Amavasya) at KD Palace and took dips in the water of Bawan Kunds on Thursday. Thousands of villagers are expected to come at KD Palace on Friday on the occasion of amavasya, to take dips in river Kshipra and Bawankunds located at the palace premises. The district administration claimed that the preparations regarding the parv have been completed.
Collector Shashak Mishra and municipal commissioner Pratibha Pal inspected the KD Palace area to take stock of arrangements. Devotees offer milk at Siddhavat: On Thursday to mark the Chaturdashi of Chaitra month according to Hindu calendar, hundreds of devotees offered milk at Siddhwat and performed rituals to obtain grace of their ancestors.
