Members of Bar Association sat on a dharna demanding elections here on Monday. Association’s former president Atul Raina said that the last election was conducted on April 10, 2017 but the present executive body does not want to hold election and captured it illegally for last one year. He warned that if the election was not declared within a week then they would form a parallel body.
It was also said that they would welcome those executive members who will tender resignation. They would also carry out a postcard drive and don black bands as part of agitation. Those present at the protest site included Nirdosh Pathak, Ashish Tiwari, Alok Sharma, Prakash Dabi, Tapesh Pathak, Vishal Chaubey and Sanjay Goyal.
