Congress contender Babulal Malviya filed his nomination for Ujjain-Alot constituency on Wednesday with Congress leaders and hundreds of party workers. On this occasion the party organised a rally which started from Mahakaleshwar temple and ended at Shaheed Park.

He reached collector office with Ramlal Malviya, Dilip Gurjar, Murli Morwal, Mahesh Parmar, Manohar Bairagi, Sajjansingh Verma, Jitu Patwari, Mahesh Soni and other Congress leaders and filed his nomination during an auspicious muhurat. An election meeting was also organised by the party at Shaheed Park area after filing the nomination in which many senior leaders addressed and appealed the denizens to support Congress. The programme was conducted by Devvrat Yadav and Rajesh Tiwari.
