Ujjain: A commuter died at the railway station as he was running to catch the Indore Pune express and lost his balance. The incident took place on Friday morning. According to government railway police (GRP), a 50-year old man was running after the Indore Pune express train to catch the train but unfortunately he lost balance and fell down on the railway track. He received head injuries and died on the spot. The passengers present on the platform rushed him to the hospital where he was declared brought dead.
He was identified as Kailash Somani (50), son of Gopal Somani, resident of Bagadiya tower located near central kotwali police station. According to passengers acquainted with him, he worked with a print media group and daily commuted to Indore. His family persons said that Somani used to prefer Indore Pune express train to go to Indore for his official work.
