Ujjain: Chitaman Ganesh Temple on Thursday celebrated ‘Til Chaturthi’ with religious fervor. The temple was attractively adorned for the occasion. Hundreds of devotees reached at the temple to pay obeisance to lord Ganesh and worship. Priest Pt Ganesh informed that til utsav was celebrated in the temple with fervor and a mass feast was organised on the temple premises. 1.25 lakh ladoos were offered to lord Ganesh on the occasion. In the morning, lord Ganesha idol was sanctified with panchamrit and thereafter it was decorated. A maha arti was also performed, the priest said.
Blood donation camp organised
Rankmitra Mandli and Chintaman Ganesh Committee jointly organised a blood donation camp on temple premises in which over 50 persons donated their blood. Senior doctors along with a team from RD Gardi Hospital lent their services for the camp.
