Ujjain: 3 persons commit suicide in city

Ujjain: Three persons committed suicide in different areas of the city. According to Neelganga police, Subhash Patel (40), a resident of village Lekoda, committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance. When his condition worsened, his relatives rushed him to a hospital where he died during treatment. Similarly Sumit Jain (35) a resident of Dhancha Bhawan area under Chimanganjmadi police station, also committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance. In both the cases, the police have registered cases and started investigation to ascertain the reason behind taking the extreme steps.

In another incident, a 40-year-old man was found hanging at a secluded area of crematorium located near Juna Somwariya. Jiwajiganj police said that the man used his muffler to make a noose and hanged self. Police said that the deceased could not be identified as yet and no suicide note was recovered from him.
