Zendaya continues to dominate her press tour couture, but her latest appearance might just be one of the most jaw-dropping looks yet. For the grand finale of The Drama promotions in New York City, the Hollywood actress delivered a look that felt nothing short of couture theatre. Inspired by the idea of "something blue," her ensemble turned the red carpet into a striking canvas of colour, craft, and creativity.
Take a look:
Zendaya's Schiaparelli moment
For the premiere, Zendaya stepped out in a breathtaking strapless gown from Schiaparelli's Spring/Summer 2026 couture collection, and it was anything but ordinary. The sculptural piece was designed with layers of black crinoline and delicate tulle, forming a dramatic, voluminous silhouette that flowed into a tiered skirt.
But the real showstopper? The feathers. As per the designer label, the gown was adorned with an astonishing 65,000 raw silk feathers in varying tones, blending 27 different shades of blue, from deep midnight hues to vibrant electric tones.
The intricate satin-stitch embroidery and detailed placement created a fluid, almost illusion-like effect, making the dress appear alive with movement. It reportedly took over 8,000 hours to complete, highlighting the sheer artistry behind the piece.
Zendaya kept her accessories in perfect sync with the gown’s palette, opting for dazzling 44 carats of sapphire jewellery from Tiffany & Co., including statement earrings and a ring that added just the right amount of sparkle. Her footwear followed the same imaginative theme, featuring heels designed to resemble birds, an artistic extension of the feathered ensemble.
Meanwhile, her beauty game was equally dreamy with sharp black eyeliner, shimmering turquoise eyeshadow, luminous base and nude lips. A slicked-back hair tied the entire look together seamlessly, keeping the focus firmly on her face and the gown.
