Indore : Finally the day has come and on Monday the visitors of Kamla Nehru Prani Sanghralaya (City Zoo) would be welcomed by a male white tiger. It is being exchanged from the Bhilai Maitri Baug Zoo. The authorities were waiting for this occasion. All the required permissions were received earlier by the Central Zoo Authority (CZA).
It is to be noted that after the death of male tiger Shyamu, the city zoo was left to 3 tigresses – Sita along with her cubs – Diya and Shivani. With the coming of this white tiger, the big cat family on the zoo premise would be complete once again. “A team has left the city and would bring the white tiger at the earliest. A couple of parrots, jackals, tortoises and peacocks would be exchanged for the white tiger.” said Dr Uttam Yadav incharge of Kamla Nehru Prani Sanghralaya.
