Indore : Four miscreants thrashed a woman and her son and also opened fire in the air to terrify them in Vikas Nagar area on Monday night. Police have registered a case against the accused.
According to MIG police, the incident took place at the house of Sonu Sirsiya of Vikas Nagar. Four accused—Vicky, Pappu, Golu and Gagan— reached the victim’s place and thrashed Sonu and his mother Sunita over an old dispute.
Sources said that the accused first barged into the house and thrashed Sonu and his mother. After that they opened fire outside the house. Empty cartridges were recovered from the scene but the police denied of any firing.
According to sources, one Aman Yadav installed a hoarding at LIG and Vikas Nagar in which picture of Sonu was displayed. The accused wanted to display their pictures on it. The police are investigating the matter.
