Indore : Sweden-India Nobel Memorial Quiz will host its ninth qualifier round of 10-city annual inter-collegiate quiz competition here on September 17 at 5pm at India Institute of Management.
The winners will get a chance to visit headquarters of global Swedish companies, Swedish Universities and the Nobel Museum among other things.
The competition, which is a part of The Sweden India Nobel Memorial Week is organised by the Embassy of Sweden and Swedish industry in India.
Peter Wennerholm, Second Secretary, Science & Innovation/Growth Analysis and Kamal Bali, Managing Director, Volvo India will be the chief guests at the event. With the addition of Guwahati and Indore, the quiz now takes place in a total of 10 cities including Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune in September to culminate in the national finals in New Delhi.
According to a press release of Embassy of Sweden winners from Indore will compete for the National championship with finalists from other cities to win an all-expenses paid trip to Sweden, where they will get to visit headquarters of global Swedish companies, Swedish Universities and the Nobel Museum among other things.
There is a good news for the runners-ups of the finale as well. The 1st and 2nd runner-up will get a chance to visit Swedish Aerospace giant, Saab’s stand at Aero India 2015. The sponsored trip will include one-day visit to Bangalore, travel, entry fee, lunch and guided tour of the Saab stand.
This year the quiz will be conducted for the first time by Kunal Savarkar, a mastermind semi-finalist and Content Editor for Kaun Banega Crorepati.
