Ratlam: Hindu Jagran Manch members protest indecency by police, officials assure of action against cop

Alot (Ratlam district, Madhya Pradesh): Hindu Jagran Manch staged chakka jam to protest against unruly behaviour of police with organisation vice president Sachin Bhalwara on Saturday.

Local resident Sachin Bhalwara who is also convener of Bhagwa Force was going to Jaora for personal work. He was stopped by constable Rahul Upadhyay at Haat Pipliya outpost. The constable asked him why he was not wearing mask.

To this, Sachin said he is alone on two-wheeler and was carrying mask. The constable took out key of two-wheeler and asked him to park it in police station. As Sachin objected and asked him to impose a fine as he made a mistake, constable Upadhyay humiliated him with cast-based remarks.

Sachin apprised Nepal Singh Dodiya of Hindu Jagran Manch about the incident. The Manch members raised protest at police station. Senior police officials assured to remove constable Rahul Upadhyay from present posting in two days after which chakka jam ended.
