Indore : Another case of medical negligence has come to light at Employees State Insurance Company (ESIC) Hospital, Nanda Nagar, when a four-year-old boy didn’t get proper treatment for the fracture in his hand on Thursday.

The doctors of the hospital even refused him to refer in the private hospital. According to Raghvendra Singh Parihar, a resident of Prince City, his four-year-old son Raju was admitted in the hospital about one and half months ago with a fracture in his hand.

“The doctor had put plaster on his hand for one and half month but two days ago when we went to remove the plaster, we found that the bones were not joined and it was even broken at two more places,” Parihar said.

He further said that the doctors refused to treat the patient. “We requested them to refer the case to other hospital but the doctors refused and sent us back without any treatment,” Parihar added. Superintendent of ESIC Hospital was not available for comment.
