Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh): A one-day national webinar was organised in Mandsaur University on Tuesday by the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism on the topic, Need for Media Education in 21st Century.

Vice Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National Journalism University, Professor KG Suresh, and former Head of Department of Mass Communication, University of Rajasthan, Professor Sanjeev Bhanawat were guest speakers.

Brigadier Dr Bharat Singh Rawat, Vice Chancellor of Mandsaur University, introduced the topic while welcoming the guests. Speaking on need for media education, Professor Sanjeev Bhanawat said responsibility and dedication with which the youths are working will definitely help in future.

Referring to his academic journey, Professor Bhanawat said media education has been there for more than 100 years now.

Professor KG Suresh said employment opportunities in the media are on rise. There is ample employment opportunity as youths take to YouTube, blogging, digital marketing etc.
