Indore: Two persons were nabbed while they were trying to supply country made pistols in Aerodrome area on Wednesday. Two pistols were recovered from them and they are being questioned further. According to Aerodrome police station in-charge Ashok Patidar, police received information that two armed men were roaming near Bijasan Tekri Lake to commit crime. After information, a team was sent there to nab the armed men. Police team cordoned off the area when the accused tried to flee but they could not do so.
During search, two country made pistols with live cartridges were recovered from them. Accused identified as Shaan alias Santosh Yadav, a resident of Hatod and Rajesh Chourasiya of Vyankatesh Vihar Colony (permanent residents of Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh) told police that they were waiting for someone to deliver firearms. The accused were booked under the relevant section of Arms Act and they are being questioned further. Patidar further said that the person to whom they were trying to supply firearms are also being searched. Accused are being interrogated for their source of illegal firearm.
