Indore: How’s the josh? Very High Sir… This was shouted by BJP activists since the initial trend of the Lok Sabha results started coming out and the sound got louder and louder when the trends were coming in favour of Bharatiya Janta Party’s win in Indore. The BJP activists celebrated the victory throughout the day and celebration began since 9 am on Thursday. It was started with some activists but the number swelled further and so as the slogans.The BJP activists shouted slogans against Congress and its president Rahul Gandhi when they found them trailing in the counting. The saffron activists also expressed their happiness when they found Digvijaya Singh from Bhopal, Jyotiraditya Scindia from Guna and Rahul Gandhi from Amethi constituency in the receiving end.

Many leaders have also started distributing sweets after BJP candidate Shankar Lalwani got the lead of over 50,000 votes. Lalwani’s was declared winner in the evening but the BJP activists started bursting crackers when he got a winning lead over his opponent, Pankaj Sanghvi. Celebrations continued till late night and the BJP activists reached Rajwada in the evening to extend their celebrations. Congress gave up in the morning itself While the BJP activists were celebrating the massive win of their party since morning, the Congress had given up since the first trend hit the TV screens.

Congress’ office and the election office both wore barren look and only a couple of activists were seen there who were performing the routine chores. However, they too left the office by noon. Most Congressmen didn’t bother to go to Nehru Stadium after seeing the trends and kept themselves busy. Many of them were seen avoiding to meet anyone specially the BJP workers.
