BJP candidate Shankar Lalwani along with Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan visited Sanwer on Wednesday but former MLA from this constituency Rajesh Sonkar was conspicuous by his absence. Lalwani and Mahajan met party leaders and workers asked them to ensure BJP’s win from Indore constituency. Tai stated that every vote counts so the activists should ensure that people come out of their houses on polling date and vote for the BJP candidate.

She stated that the country needs Prime Minister Narendra Modi for another term so they should not leave any stone unturned to ensure BJP win. All mandal leaders were present during the meeting but Sonkar was not there. It was stated that he was out of station. On Tuesday when Lalwani and Mahajan had gone to Depalpur, former MLA of that constituency Manoj Patel was also not present. It was stated that he was also out of town. Meanwhile, the BJP stated that Lalwani would start his door to door campaign from April 27.
