Indore: A newborn baby was found injured in a farm in Chandan Nagar area on Friday. The residents noticed the injured baby boy and informed the police immediately.
It was believed that the baby was left early in the morning after which he was attacked by animals. A case has been registered against unidentified person for putting baby’s life in danger leaving him in isolated place.
Residents of Ashiyana Palace area informed state level police control room in Bhopal after finding infant injured in the field near a furniture godown of a person named Raju at 8 am.
After the information, constable Vijay Singh and Pilot Deepak of Fast Response Vehicle (Dial 100) reached the spot and recovered the baby boy.
He was injured as animals had scratched him on different parts of the body. Baby boy was admitted in MY hospital and his condition is stated to be out of danger. The policemen of FRV late informed Chandan Nagar police station staff about the incident.
Chandan Nagar police station incharge Rahul Sharma said baby boy was left in the isolated place by his father or mother. However, a case under Section 317 of IPC has been registered against unidentified person and further investigation is underway.
The CCTV cameras installed in the area are being scanned to know the person who dumped the infant in isolated place putting his life in danger.
