Indore: A day before vote count, Lok Sabha candidates visited temples, gurdwaras to seek divine intervention to win election. While Congress candidate Pankaj Sanghvi has been seeking blessings of saints and deities, the party workers performed special yagya for his win. The exit polls have raised anxiety among Congressmen. Congress activists under leadership of Devendra Singh Yadav performed a yagna at Kal Bhairav temple located at Pandhrinath to ensure party’s win. “We do not believe in exit polls as they were proved wrong earlier. We believe in deities and perform yagya to see Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister and Pankaj Sanghvi as MP from Indore Lok Sabha seat,” Yadav said.
He said exit polls will be proved wrong once again on Thursday and Congress party will win maximum seats. Meanwhile, a training programme on counting process was also organised for Congress activists. A special team of All India Congress Committee trained party workers. Senior party leaders including candidate Pankaj Sanghvi was also present in meeting.
