Indore : School of Future Studies and Planning, DAVV organised a special guest lecture on ‘Data Analytics and Cloud Computing’ on Thursday. The lecture was delivered by Dr Kumar Saurabh, principal technical architect, Tech Mahindra, Bangalore.

“In this digital era, there is a need for data centres to become adaptive to the continuously changing business demands. Cloud computing and data analytics are the next generation technologies for information technology consumerization,” he said.

The lecture highlighted in-depth insights to use cases, technologies, business domain and knowledge areas pertaining to cloud computing and analytics arena.

The session helped to understand the next level of cloud management platform which simplifies IT by transforming legacy data centres into adaptive infrastructure. “It has given the importance of ‘Orchestrating Complexity’ and how to deliver private and hybrid IaaS / PaaS / SaaS solutions in response to dynamic workload requirements,” HoD VB Gupta said. It highlighted how to enable integrated performance, availability and SLA management of applications and infrastructure across multiple cloud providers.
