Bike-lifter nabbed, six two-wheelers recovered

Indore : Bhawar Kuan police have nabbed a vehicle thief and recovered half-a-dozen stolen two-wheelers from his possession. The accused was reportedly nabbed during a beat patrolling.

According to the police, the team intercepted the accused while was standing at Teen Imli Square with a motorcycle during a beat patrol.

As the man saw the police team approaching he made a bid to escape. The team chased the man and finally cornered him near IT Park police post.

Upon questioning the man told the police that his name was Yash Sisodiya (20), resident of Musakhedi. When asked documents of the motorcycle, Yash did not have any. Based on registration number of the motorcycle the police made an inquiry and found that it was registered to one Amit Pawar, resident of Lodhi Mohalla.

Amit reportedly told the police that it was stolen whereupon police questioned Yash once again and he admitted to stealing motorcycles for a living.

Based on information provided by Yash, the police recovered six two-wheelers of various makes from different locations, including his residence. Yash has been booked under various sections of the IPC and is being questioned by the police.
