Indian Army released a video on Tuesday on the first anniversary of the Galwan Valley clash, in which 20 Indian soldiers were killed while fighting Chinese aggression.
Along with this, Fire and Fury Corps paid homage to the soldiers martyred in a faceoff with Chinese troops in the Galwan valley on the first anniversary of the violent clash on Tuesday, informed PRO Defence, Srinagar.
In the clash, 20 Indian soldiers were killed making it one of the worst clashes in 45 years. The clash led India to a military standoff with China. At least 11 rounds of military talks were made for the disengagement process.
Meanwhile, a year after the violent faceoff with Chinese troops in the Galwan valley, the Indian defence forces have strengthened themselves in the entire Ladakh sector through multiple initiatives, a statement issued by PRO Defence, Srinagar claimed.

These include building infrastructure to enhance connectivity and deploying additional troops to tackle any possible aggression by the Chinese.
Meanwhile, Indians have come together virtually to remember and honour those who died fighting for the Indian motherland and its citizens.
Honouring the slain bravehearts, Priyanka Chaturvedi, national spokesperson of the Indian National Congress wrote on Twitter, "To the 20 brave men who fought to safeguard every single inch of our land, who did not flinch to lay down their lives for their motherland, who gave China a bloodied nose in Galwan Valley, to them my utmost respect, salute and tribute. A grateful nation remembers."
The Indian Air Force, on its part, is also strengthening itself with the arrival of its Rafale fighter jets every couple of months, officials added.
