Aligarh: In a shocking incident a huge brawl erupted among the people and a traffic inspector in Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh. The incident allegedly occurred after the traffic inspector stopped a bullet that was emanating the sound of firecrackers from its silencer and tried to seize the bike. An argument erupted between the traffic police inspector and the bike rider which escalated. The bike rider who is alleged to be from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) then called the supporters of the party and they started to fight and thrash the traffic inspector.

The video of the incident is going viral on social media

The video of the incident is doing rounds on social media and it can be seen in the video that the mob is hitting the police inspector who is sitting in the police car. Other police personnel present at the spot are seen trying to separate the mob and the police inspector. However, they are seen attacking the traffic police inspector. After the fight, the protesting mob staged a sit-in on the road. They parked their bikes and scooters in the middle of the road and registered their protest.

Kamlesh Kumar said that he was manhandled by the mob after he stopped the bullet

The traffic police inspector has been identified as Kamlesh Kumar who is a Traffic Inspector in Aligarh. Kamlesh Kumar said that he was manhandled by the mob after he stopped the bullet that was releasing the sound of firecrackers from its silencer. He said that many leaders gathered at the spot and claimed that Kamlesh Kumar was drunk. However, he refuted such claims and said that he has never touched alcohol in his entire life and that the leaders and the Aligarh Police are trying to frame him.

The protesting mob staged a sit-in on the road

He also said that he never knew that the Aligarh Police is impotent and had no guts to take action against these people. The incident occurred near the SP City Office located on GT Road in the Bannadevi Police Station area of Aligarh. The people jammed the traffic on the road by parking their bikes and scooters in the middle of the road. Heavy police force has been deputed in the area after the matter escalated.

An action is being initiated against the mob

There are reports that the matter has been registered at the police station and an action is being initiated against the mob that hit the police inspector. The police have also ordered a probe into the matter and the videos are being investigated in connection with the matter.
