Mumbai, March 09: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday congratulated Team India for winning the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 trophy by defeating New Zealand in the finals. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to his official social media account and praised Team India which was led by Rohit Sharma for lifting the CT 2025 trophy.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "An exceptional game and an exceptional result! Proud of our cricket team for bringing home the ICC Champions Trophy. Theyโve played wonderfully through the tournament. Congratulations to our team for the splendid all around display."
Other leaders also extended their wishes and praised the Men In Blue for their historic victory against New Zealand in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Finals.
Andhra Pradesh Minister and TDP leader Nara Lokesh said, "CHAMPIONS! Congratulations to Team India for a stellar victory in the #ChampionsTrophy final! All the members of the team, led by captain Rohit Sharma, displayed a brilliant game and gave the whole country another great opportunity to celebrate."
Union Minister and BJP leader Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya also praised Team India for their historic win and said, "Hoisted the tricolour! Congratulations to the champions of India for a brilliant, tremendous win."
