India sees lowest COVID-19 tally since beginning of April: 80,834 cases and 3,303 deaths reported in last 24 hours

India's COVID-19 caseload continues to drop, with the daily numbers reported on Sunday morning being the lowest recorded since the beginning of April 2021. Health Ministry data indicates that there are now 10.26 lakh active cases in the country as of Sunday morning. 80,834 new cases and 3,303 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 1,32,062 patients were discharged.
