Session Court of Patiala House Court granted bail to climate change activist Disha Ravi who was arrested in connection with allegedly being involved in sharing a "toolkit" on social media related to the farmers' protest.

Additional Session Judge Dharmender Rana granted bail to her on furnishing a bail bond of Rs 100,000 with two surety in like amount.

In the order copy, Rana stated, "Considering the scanty & sketchy investigation, I do not find any palpable reason to breach the rule of bail for a 22-year-old girl who has absolutely no criminal antecedents."

As a condition to granting bail to Disha Ravi, the court instructed her to continue to cooperate with the ongoing investigations and join the investigation as and when summoned. The court also said that she 'shall not leave the country without court's permission.

Earlier, a Delhi court on Monday had sent Ravi to one day police custody.

Ravi had blamed activists Shantanu Muluk, Nikita Jacob during the interrogation by the Delhi Police.

The Cyber Cell had lodged an FIR against "pro-Khalistan" creators of the "toolkit" for waging a "social, cultural and economic war against the Government of India".

On February 14, the Delhi Police took to microblogging website Twitter to elaborate on the case. It wrote, "Disha Ravi, arrested by Delhi Police, is an Editor of the Toolkit Google Doc and key conspirator in document's formulation and dissemination."

She started WhatsApp Group and collaborated to make the Toolkit document, the police said, adding that she worked closely with them to draft it.

"In this process, they all collaborated with pro Khalistani Poetic Justice Foundation to spread disaffection against the Indian State. She was the one who shared the Toolkit Doc with Greta Thunberg," the police wrote on Twitter.
