Madurai: Five persons were killed and six injured when their car hit a stationary lorry at Valanaadu in Tiruchirappalli district early today.
Police said the occupants of the car were returning to their native place Vilathikulam in Tuticorin district from Walajabad in Kancheepuram when the mishap occurred.
The injured were admitted to government hospital.
