New Delhi: Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday exposed the ruling BJP''s lie in the Lok Sabha elections that electricity has reached every house in Uttar Pradesh.

"Even today, at least 18 lakh families are without electric connection in Uttar Pradesh. They are taking rounds of the offices for thee connections," she tweeted.

She said the BJP propaganda machinery had hailed the scheme of electricity to every house as "Saubhagya Yojana," but it turns out to be a "Vote-Bhagya Yojana" for getting the votes.

Why did the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh tell such a lie to the people, Priyanka asked.

In yet another tweet, she said: "Journalists in U.P. are being taken in custody to put curtains on questions and deny the problems. The BJP Govt in UP winning stunning majority is refusing to answer people’s questions."

"Netaji, this is public that knows everything. It will ask questions and also seek answers," she added.
