28-year-old youth shot at in Delhi

New Delhi: A 28-year-old, whose mother had caught two snatchers in East Delhi last month, was allegedly shot at by two bike-borne assailants in Nizamuddin area of southeast Delhi Friday morning. The victim has been identified as Ricky Ranjit Sahni. On June 27, his mother Laimayum Khulna Sahni (49) displayed rare courage when she caught two snatchers in East Delhi and handed them over to police. The incident took place when Ricky Ranjit Sahni was on his way to work. “As he reached near Nizamuddin on his motorcycle, two bike-borne assailants wearing helmets started following him and fired two shots at him,” said a police official.
