Mumbaikars again stuck in between their way to home in the evening wee hours where you could hardly find a passenger resting in place. Passengers from both Central line and Western are affected due to the signal failure.

Services came at halt after the local trains on the Western Railway today got suspended between Goregaon-Malad for over 15 minuted due the signal failure. Where as at the same time in Central line train are suspended between Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) and Masjid.

Sources said that stranded passengers and other travellers are walking down all the way from CST to Masjid.

The services crippled around 7.30 pm today as the signal failed to get operated. Railway officials later confirmed that about the signal failure which was later restored around 7.40 pm after the passenger got exhausted due to the unexpected delay.

Although the signal and the services have been restored almost after 30 minutes of stoppage, trains are said to run 20-25 minutes behind from their respective schedule as the train services as multiple local trains have been kept stranded and they can’t restore all train in one go.
