Unidentified persons rob car, cash in UP

Muzaffarnagar: Eight persons were robbed off their car, Rs 25,000 cash and other valuables by five unidentified robbers near Sisona village on Delhi-Dehradun national highway, police said today. Eight employees of a Delhi based company – Kapil, Ankit, Tanveer, Akshay, Rizvan, Pinki, Deepak and Priti – were on their way to Haridwar in an Innova car yesterday when five bike-borne persons intercepted them and robbed their mobiles, cash and the car, they said. An FIR has been registered in the matter, they said, adding efforts are on to nab the accused.
