Uber driver arrested in Colorado after trying to break into passenger’s house

Sydney : An Uber driver in the US state of Colorado has been arrested after he tried to break into the house of a customer he had taken to the airport. According to News.com.au, the driver named Gerald Montgomery is accused of second degree assault after he tried to sneak into the customer’s house through the backdoor in Denver, Colorado last Thursday. Police said that Montgomery was caught by the passenger’s roommate who saw him get through her back door before he fled. Montgomery took a customer to Denver International Airport following which he went back to her place and tried to break into her house, said police spokesman Sonny Jackson. Montgomery is in police custody as he waits to appear before a judge this week.
