Files counter complaint alleging the accuser of blackmailing him
Mumbai: An upcoming model has filed a molestation case against Mika Singh in Versova police station on Tuesday after the later reportedly refused helping her getting good assignments and break into film industry.
“The model had visited Singh’s house in Andheri where she was reportedly molested,” said a source attached to Versova police station.
They have been knowing each other for the last five years, said the source. “Tuesday morning at around 5:00 am one girl barged into my premises by entering through window and started abusing me and assaulting me and my staff and started threatening if I don’t pay her Rs. 5 crore she will ruin my career and register a false case against me,” said Mika Singh in a counter complaint filed at the same police station.
“I have already informed Versova police in writing regarding the threats and extortion. I don’t know who this girl is. I have all the evidence against this girl,” said Singh, adding, “I have informed the police about this incident. Police is investigating the matter and truth will be out soon.”
A case under section 354, 323 and 504 of IPC has been registered at Versova police station. The senior inspector told FPJ that the matter needs to be investigated before he initiates action against Singh. “We will also scrutinize the CTTV footage installed at Singh’s house,” said Kiran Kale, Senior PI Versova Police station.
